Ok Ted, I get the point.

I’m still happy that Portman saw the light after his son came out. He didn’t try to weasel his opinion by saying it should be left to each state. He didn’t wait until he left office before speaking up. Would you rather he pull a Cheney?

This is what progress looks like. We need to keep highlighting the fact that both DOMA & drones can hurt those we care about.

Walking in someone else’s shoes. Which is why Congress’s sons and daughters should be the first to go to battle and there should be a draft. Then there would be less warmongering.

I remember the draft. I was one of its victims. I opposed the draft because there were, and would be again. exemptions for the rich and powrful. Only the poor had no choice. (With the exception of Muhammid Ali, bless his stand-up heart!)
