Another excellent role reversal, like in Lysistrata. Will it help? No, folks will feel offended and outraged instead of taking on board this satire. They aren’t like that, they’re the fine, moral upstanding citizens of the world. They have niceness on their side. And will miss the bloody point.
So, why oh why, do they hate us?

Mr Rall doesn’t seem to realise that, under International Law, the US has every legal and moral right to use drones against any nation that cannot retaliate. The US can deploy drones anywhere in the world, and has every right to do so, except in Russia, China, France, Britain, and maybe India. The president of the US has every right to kill whomever he wishes wherever he wishes, unless the nation where that person is residing has nukes, and the ability to get them to the US, and the determination to protect the person the US president orders killed (note that most nuclear powers strongly supported the Bush, Jr administration in its policy of arresting people and subjecting them to ‘enhanced interrogation’, so they probably would not object if the US felt it necessary to use drones to kill a few people inside their borders, but if they have nukes and the ability to get those nukes to the US, the president should ask politely BEFORE droning, just as Bush, Jr always said ‘please’ before sending agents to arrest people for ‘enhanced interrogation’).
It is completely illegal and immoral for Pakistan to do anything against the US, since the US could and would respond by hanging all of Pakistan’s leaders and carpet bombing all their cities and villages.
Of course, Iraq didn’t do anything, and the US still hanged their leader and carpet bombed their cities and villages. But the US has that right, because it’s the strongest nation on earth, and that’s why the US must see that most of the government budget goes to the military so it will remain the strongest nation on earth, and thereby have the legal and moral right to kill anyone the president wishes any time, any place, for any reason or for no reason. It’s a great right, and that right only accrues to the nation that is the strongest! So stop squandering all that money on elderly hypochondriacs, and give all of Social Security and Medicare to the US military, so the US can preserve the essential right to kill anyone, any time, anywhere for the preservation of freedom, liberty, and democracy!
Anyone who says otherwise is unAmerican and should be droned.

That’s why we WROTE the International Law. Unfortunately, they won’t obey it. Kind of like we did with the Brits in 1776.

I suspect Anwar al-Awlaki’s extrajudicial execution, despite being American, made no impact on Americans because he isn’t named John. Or even Andrew. Anwar…Andrew…Anwar meh, shoot the bugger.

Every time Pakistan uses a drone to blow up an American on American soil it makes more Americans join the jihad against Pakistan.

They hate us because we represent freedom for our citizens.
What country bends over backwards so their enemy countries ‘like them’?

Dubya’s BS line…they hate us because of our military presence there. I’d rather not spend my tax money so we can play with our toy soldiers in the sandbox.

But it’s okay to deprive our citizens of their constitutional rights. The Second Amendment is clear. How many ways can possibly interpret “shall not be infringed”? Where is your outrage now?

A reference to Lysistrata? You warm my heart!!

That message ain’t “hidden”. Rall can be subtle and sophisticated, but here he hits us between the eyes with a 2X4.

Really? How can you still believe that? As Osama bin Laden said, if they hated our freedoms and dissolute Western values, they’d be attacking Holland like nobody’s business. And yet…why aren’t they? It’s not like the US is even close to being the freedomest country on the planet.

Mr. Rall,
Capitalism=Freedomism
As long as the top capitalists have as much freedom as possible, it means the rest of us do as well. They told us so, so it must be true.
