I’m sure that there are any number of other qualified potential presidential candidates out there.
The problem is that all of the ones who have mentioned their intent to run have their foot so firmly in their mouth that they can sit on it.

It’s been said before, and in view of the past year’s primaries, it looks more true than ever; anybody who actually wants the job should be prevented from getting near it!
Maybe we should institute a draft, with some minimum qualifications, and a random selection (with Open-Source code for the Random bit). No party apparatus need apply.

Douglas Adams states that :“Those who most desire to lead are, Ipso-Facto, those the least qualified to actually do the job. So therefore, ANYONE who is actually capable of being elected President should under NO circumstances be allowed to have the job!”
Actually, one rule that REALLY needs to be put into effect is the rule that “Anyone who announces his or her intention to run for President more then one calendar year before the General Election is AUTOMATICALLY disqualified from running”!

Master: I agree with the early announcement prohibition! Now if we could get the (non)liberal media to stop their whore-mongering it might work!

I think we should do the draft like the NBA- every state gets ping pong balls in proportion to their electoral votes, let them trade up or down and sell tickets. We could have Ryan Secrest as the emcee!

Let’s just cut to the chase: Chelsie Clinton and Beau Biden vs the Bush twins!

I read an article about Jeb Bush stating that he is one of the few people qualified to be President but would never run because of the baggage he would have to carry (father and brother).

As poisonous as politics is in this country, the majority of people who actually could do some good in the field wouldn’t take the job at gunpoint!

I remember during the RNC circus, I mean convention Jeb’s speech. He had glowing praise for his father, but all he could say about his brother was, “My brother, well I love him.” Or something significantly to that sentiment. The point is, even Jeb Bush, the former President’s own brother couldn’t say anything positive about W or his reign as idiot-in-chief.

I have often wondered why some of the “Political Experts”, who like to tell us everything that’s wrong with Washington D.C. nowadays on the various News networks,(and FAUX as well) don’t try running for office themselves?
After all, to hear THEM tell it, they know ALL the solutions to ALL the problems facing America today…

In a country with 311,000,000 people, only the descendants of King Edward I of England are winning the White House. I think this is because they are genetically predisposed toward ambition, organization, and managing countries because Edward was descended from all the kings and queens who attained power across the landscape of Europe from Lisbon to Moscow the previous 800 years going back to his ancestors the Merovingians of France.

Louis XVI of France had a pedigree too. So did the tsar in Russia in 1917. So did gee dubya shrub.
    (BTW, XVI=16)
    ………………………………………………………………
(Alan Sherman, sung to the tune Le Marseillaise)
“Louie the 16th was the king of France in 1789.
He was worse than Louie the 15th,
He was worse than Louie the 14th,
He was worse than Louie the 13th,
He was the worst, since Louie the first.”
    (now a different tune)
“You went the wrong way oh king Louie……”

Hey, I know. Let’s repeal the Congressional act that bans a sitting president from holding office for more that two terms and then Obama can run, again!! I can see it now: Obama for President 2016!!

It is way too freakin’ early to be talking about 2016.

And considering that Hilary’s health is not the best as it should be, she’s probably out of the running.

Besides, I already made up my mind in this one and I’m going to write in “Tickle” from Discovery Channel’s “Moonshiners” for President in 2016.

Just like in elections before, it really doesn’t matter who wins, I always lose.
