Universities love PhD students because they're a source of cheap, brilliant and disposable labor. What's in it for the students? Debt, underemployment, and a salary 3% higher than if they hadn't bothered. Man: I'm a substitute part-time temp! My job is to convince my students to go for PhDs. Woman: Sweet gig! How can I get one? Man: You need a second PhD.

NK invaded South Korea. The US landed in SK and pushed them back. While doing so we (the US) invaded NK, which got the Chinese involved, to keep NK from falling.
