Actually, it’s because the Bankers, and the corporate CEO’s haven’t told them WHAT their plans are going to be yet!

The general consensus of the pundits is neither candidate wants to say anything their opponent can use in a politcal ad. I hope the moderators for the upcoming debates will hold these men’s well polished shoes to the fire and demand straight answers. I also hope for world peace…don’t expect that to happen this year either.

And what does that tell you? That the system is broken.

Too bad there’s no Scotty to beam up the far “right” and take them away to a moon of Uranus. We’d be better off without them.

There is an asymmetrical logic-flaw in this cartoon and the situation it describes. From a sitting president everybody can expect to continue the course he is on, a challenger on the other hand is an unknown element in the equation and must explain himself.
-
Furthermore a sitting president can not say “after re-election I will do this and that and the other thing” because – by logic – these things are supposed to be good for the country and would lead everybody to ask “And why are you not doing them RIGHT NOW, for Pete*s sake?!?”.
-
McCain made a similar mistake in 08 when he said publicly that he knew how to get Bin Laden. If he really knew, why didn’t he tell everybody? That’s not “country first”, that’s blackmail: “Vote for me or I never tell you how to get him”…

Every time O opens his mouth the Republicans distort whatever he says. So much so that the distortions have become an anti-Romney joke. (Ruben Bolling’s “Tom the Dancing Bug” for 9/7 is a prime example.)

No Presidential candidate can say exactly what they are going to do if elected. For example, Obama said he wanted to do something about improving healthcare before he got elected. But instead we got a 2000 plus page monster that is counter-productive. We do have plenty to base our decision upon.

Obama said he would do something about health care, and described it pretty well. The 2000 page monster came from congress, and it’s not the problem with the bill. The problem with the bill is that conservatives thought of it but didn’t get credit for it, so their opposed to it… for no rational reason that they can express.

Apparently, continuing to steer the ship in a straight line doesn’t qualify as a “plan” unless we use pretty language and rhetoric to help folks understand.

Yes and we know Romney’s health care plan has only one word in it: NO!!
