And yet most of the damage is being done by the left and most of the nuts belong to the liberals and the democratic national socialist party.

The prisoners would have been better off being shot in the head on the battlefields of war?

What would you rather receive, a quick death or prolonged imprisonment and torture?

That’s Republican Lite for you: less filling, tastes great.
You just have to watch out for that ferociously bitter aftertaste.

It’s intelligent and well written political anaysis like this that is so persuasive and convincing. Unlike that mindless detailed and accurate anaysis of the effects of Obamacare, the stimulus, and the current Justice Department.

Prosecuting the people who actually did the murdering would result in “I was just following orders”, just like after 1945 in Germany. Walking up the chain of command would in the end lead to GWB and Darth, err, Dick Cheney. Putting them on trial would “Hurt the reputation of the U.S. in the world” – at least that’s the excuse by consensus between everybody in power, left or right. Democracy is not the ideal form of government because it does not eliminate the “human factors” that shine through when these kind of news are reported…

We don’t have a Democracy. We have a Republic. In a Democracy, you have no:
Filibuster,
60% Majorities,
Holds by single legislators
Gerrymanders
Voter restrictions
Shall i go on ?

Simple fact relative to the toon, had “O”, “done the right thing”, Cheney and “W” would have had to have been sent to the Hague, AFTER being prosecuted for crimes committed against U.S. laws. It’s also why Pelosi said “impeachment is off the table”.

Still, the bottom line remains that Obama is less unlikeable than Romney. Sigh. It’s a heck of an election when one has to support the best bad apple.
