This is actually a lot more true to life then most people will ever want to admit!
I hear names of “Famous Pop Stars”, and realize that I have never heard of 80% of them!
Of course, I actually remember having 3 T.V. channels to choose from!
Well, actually, 3 and PBS, or E.T.V., Educational Television as it was known then!

Ted is soooo right on this! I stopped watching TV a long time ago. I can get all the news and entertainment that I (me, myself and I) want off the net, at any time I want, in any language I want. What is TV still there for? It’s just for people who are too complacent to even think about what they really would like to watch right now! Poor sods…

That’s because you’re “OLD”. The entertainment/advertising field doesn’t care about anyone over 40. Want to get rid of “survey takers”/ Tell them you’re 60 (or older) They can’t get off the line fast enuff.

In the future crack will not only be legal but required to be used by the modified Obamacare bill.

I’d say nice non sequitur but I wouldn’t want to confuse you, so I’ll settle for get a life.

It won’t do any good to tell Ima that is was a nice non-sequitur, since the words have more then one syllable, and like most FAUX listeners, he, she, it, whatever, has to be spoon-fed all information in tiny little bits, so their pea-size brains don’t explode!

This is actually a GOOD thing. The fewer people who get their opinions from ClearChannel musicians, the better off we’ll be.

C’mon folks. These comic comments sections thrive on non sequiturs. You can start out with a toon on the humor in the relationship between the sexes and it quickly evolves into how stupid Sarah Palin is and how evil Bush-Cheney was. Or it can be a toon on the dangers of over-sized portions in restaurants and it quickly evolves into how stupid Sarah Palin is and how evil Bush-Cheney was. Or it can be a toon on how horrible our public school (i.e. indoctrination) system is and it quickly evolves into how stupid Sarah Palin is and how evil Bush-Cheney was. Or…

As I am rapidly approaching geezerhood (I can’t seem to ride my touring bike or mountain bike more than 3 hrs) I remember getting excited when we got PBS (formerly known as ‘educational tv’) for our 4th channel.
I got on the ‘Do Not Call’ list and the survey takers won’t even interrupt my nap.

C’mon, you don’t see any comments from us lefties running down Palin, Bush, Cheney or LIttle Lord Fauntleroy (aka Little S_ _t Mitt), do you?
As a former public middle school math/science teacher I must point out that it is how evil Bush/Cheney were, not how evil they was. -2.
I retired early from teaching because their primary purpose is to indoctrinate students to become good little wage slaves for corporations. They teach most students how to sit down, shut up and follow directions, and teach college-bound students how to sit down, shut up and follow slightly more complex directions.
