3 hedge fund managers from Greenwhich, CT win $254 million in the Lottery. Bewilderment ensues. (Woman: The world is broken.) (Man: Lotto winners are supposed to be poor drunks who waste it all on drugs and hedge funds.) Typically, logic leads to anger. (Woman: This is God's fault.) (Man: He's the cahoots with the 1%!) A movement is born: occupy God. (Woman: Bankers got lotto, we got notto!) (Man: Hey, ho capricious ubiquitous omni-scient invisible deities have got to go!) (Woman: No answer.) (Man: Mic check! Louder!) (Man 2: Futility is next to Godliness.)
“God did it”, goes back to WAY before Moses, Christ, or Mohammed, for good or evil, “Man” has never been able to blame himself for anything. When “God” can turn a wrench, or change a tire quickly, he may be responsible for winning a NASCAR race. When he stops creating tornadoes, he may “save” someone from them. Maybe the whole computer world “cloud” thing is just “God”??
