I liked Perry…until his science connection came to light. Romney and Palin also have a problem with science.

Did these people fail science in school?

Yes, world, and that truly is the best candidate either of the parties that control America are willing to nominate.

Perry is a joke. It is indicative of the state of America that he is even running.

Wait a second…Gov Scary was educated in Texas, so how can he even read?

Rall has a gift for satire that is both very funny and very troubling, as it probes the ugly truth of American politics. It’s quite likely that American voters next year will have a choice between the lesser of two evils again. Either they can vote for the ineffectual incumbent who won’t fight for what he professes to believe in, or they can vote for whichever right wing nut case the GOP nominates. And if it’s Perry and he wins the general election, God help us. Of course, as a disgruntled liberal in Texas, I can vote for the Green Party candidate with a clear conscience that my vote is doing no harm.

Right now, the Republican rabble is for Perry, but the Republican Powers-that-Be are for Romney. Polls show that Romney would defeat Obama, but Perry would lose. (Sorry all you ABO types, there are even more ABP types, and they feel even more strongly than you do.)

The smart money says (subject to change without notice) that it will be Romney taking the Oath of Office in Jan ’13.

Anyone who thinks that they can predict who will be President in 2013 is not “smart money”.

Why don’t really smart people want to be president? We seem to have a problem, Houston…………..

Yes, ½ term Governors only require a hand to write on.

Obama’s teleprompter is full of crazy, irrational stuff. Who knew?

What I find funniest about the “teleprompter” crowd is that none of them seem to have heard of “ear buds” that prompt the folk what to say- even Faux News reporters wear ‘em, and the audience doesn’t notice.
