Transcript:
South Pork. (Man 1: First we were friends f---ing around, trying to get laid... now Matt is married, and I've got a little family.) Trey Parker and Matt Stone struck comedy gold with "South Park." (They killed Kenny!) Liberals embraced their puppet movie. (Man 2: "Team America: World Police" is the fiercest indictment of colonialism since "Burmese days") (Man 3: Also it makes fun of Bush real good.) But now the stoner anarchists are old. (Man 1: The economy is dead. We're at war on 5 fronts. So we thought a boradway send-up of mormon missionaries in Africa would be relevant.) The media response to their Newfound maturity is rapturous. (Man: Humor shouldn't offend. It should barely be noticed.) Selling out has never been so easy. (Man 3: Of course we still love Matt and Trey... we can't afford to see their new play so there's nothing to make us hate them.)
Good job ted. I think trey and matt may notice and do something more pithy in the future. They are pretty responsive as those episodes are quick to churn out… or they may turn their ire against you.
