Twice the winner of the Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award and a Pulitzer Prize finalist, Rall's work has appeared in hundreds of newspapers, as well as such magazines as Time, Newsweek, Fortune and MAD. He is also the author of 15 books, including several graphic novels and political polemics about Central and South Asia.

Post-apocalyptic DC?
I don’t get it.

HEY TED: MyYahoo! has deleted the link to your column on its homepage! Care to divulge the inside story of what happened?
Lavocat said, 15 days ago
Way too little, way too late. Pretty much.

It is nice to see a Rall cartoon in which no one seems to need a shave.

CF - I think the idea is that even though Obama is indeed getting a lot of these things done (http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/promises/) and made a point of announcing one today, the country is still pretty much an economic wreck.

Ted’s cartoons are so painfully honest lately I worry he’s going to explode or something!
I can almost forgive him now for all the dishonest Bush-bashing he engaged in for so many years…. ;)

Thatd be nice to get rid of a lot of things. Plant our own gardens and hunt our own food. Build our own houses without hearing how you owe this or that. I like the idea.
When your required to pay taxes, its the governments country. When your going to go risk your life in war, its your country. Or so they seem.

he should stick with trivial pursuit…

Ted is always honest. You may disagree with him, but he believes what he writes.

How many of you did a “spit take” when Scott said he was worried Ted might explode?

Churchill: I don’t know what happened at MyYahoo. Any chance you could write them and ask?
Scott: Has it occurred to you that, if I’m right about Obama, maybe I was right about Bush too? Or vice versa?
Motivemagnus: Just so. Obama is focused on everything except helping the unemployed and distressed homeowners–the two things he should have made #1.

PT Obarnum is a war monger and murderer no different save for his skin tone than W.

WOW - Well Mr. Rall does taking the time to read this comments help you? I’m glad you do it, because we who write these things like to think someone reads them.
As you probably know from reading these comments there are too many people who just want to shout strange things at the sky.

Ted… yeah, you were right about Bush.
Sometimes. :/
You definitely didn’t bat a perfect 1.000, though. Far from it! :P
And your prejudice towards the GOP is, well, pretty blatant.

Proverbs 14
28 In the multitude of people is the king’s honour: but in the want of people is the destruction of the prince.
21 He that despiseth his neighbour sinneth: but he that hath mercy on the poor, happy is he.

“Obama is focused on everything except helping the unemployed and distressed homeowners” - T. Rall
The media focus on the plight of homeowners in housing recovery stories is touching but it’s “legacy” assets we’re concerned about. Homeowners are just tiny parts found inside legacy assets.

@ Scottfreitas - I believe Rall is providing a critique of Obama from the left. It stands to reason he won’t be a big fan of the GOP either :) .
