Deploying the razor-sharp wit and incisive take-no-prisoners satire characteristic of his generation, Gen Xer Ted Rall has become one of the most widely read editorial cartoonists in America. Twice the winner of the Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award and a Pulitzer Prize finalist, Rall's work has appeared in hundreds of newspapers, as well as such magazines as Time, Newsweek, Fortune and MAD. He is also the author of 15 books, including several graphic novels and political polemics about Central and South Asia.

I don’t relate; for me, it’s not that I like driving fast, I just don’t like having cars ahead of me.

Or approaching in your’ rear mirror, right Ed?
Good call, Ted. Waiting in line for anything sucks, having to contend with “slugs” just feeds the fire, whether they’re well-intended or not.

More of Rall repeating his mantra “Slow is bad” ad nauseum. C’mon Ted, what else do ya got?

I started to estimate the cost to American business of the idiocy perpetuated by the TSA at airport security lines, but it got ridiculous. Just for starters, you’re supposed to be at the airport an hour before departure time, two hours for international – and more if an alert is on – which basically adds half and hour to an hour longer than old times; you have to spend time in a security line doing nothing, getting your shoes scanned for something they can’t see (TSA people do no better than chance at finding things like plastique), and taking out bags of liquid because of an impossible plan by pseudo-terrorists (the supposed liquid explosive is impossible) – it adds up FAST…

I propose a mandate: that all people, except minors, (don’t sound the “To Catch a Predator” alarm just yet) to go about their business without wearing any clothes at airports to make things more agile.
And give Megan Fox air traveling discounts whenever possible.

Generally have to agree, BC, think Ted was making reference to his “change now” theme, at least he’s dialed down the Obama critique, tho, so I’m giving him credits :-)
Nice idea, Ed, that would make travel more interesting.

I deal with clueless tourists, wandering aimlessly and getting in my way, every day when I’m trying to commute to and from work. They should be banned from public transportation hubs during rush hour!

Hey,
to paraphrase Scott Adams who coined the term, everybody is an induhvidual at some point.
