Yes folks, we have a President who thinks he can stimulate the economy by printing more “money,” raising your taxes, and spending our grand children’s inheritance—all to win the votes of illegal immigrants, dead people, and Democrats.

Furthermore, he can’t prove he was born in America. According to Obama’s Kenyan (paternal) grandmother, as well as his half-brother and half-sister, Barack Hussein Obama was born in Kenya, not in Hawaii as he claims. Before his inauguration, his grandmother bragged that her grandson was about to be President of the United States and is so proud because she was present during his birth in Kenya, in the delivery room. This, according to several news sites and Pennsylvania attorney Philip J. Berg who is a life long democrat himself. Berg is the former Deputy Attorney General of Pennsylvania.

woa, do you always get comments like these?

My first reaction was “Ted Rall gets it right again” and I’m one of those boomers you resent! (lol)

Keep it up, Ted. Tell us what we need to hear. Show us what we need to see.

If I were an Iranian I would surely have voted for Mousavi and would be on the streets of Tehran at this moment, being the educated, humane, non-relgious, cosmpolitan leftist that I am. But it is entirely possible that Ahmadinejad actually, unfortunately, did win. Among superstitious rednecks he had a following and, Iran living under constant threat of military assault by you-know-who and you-know who-else, the tougher, meaner guy may have gotten the nod. As a North Carolinian, I lived through over twenty years of representation by the crypto-fascist , racist tenure of Jesse Helms, yet I have never personally known anybody who admitted voting for him. In general, mean rednecks seem to have a built in advantage. (BTW, the last poll taken before the election seemed to give the edge to Amjad). Lotta things in life suck.

    Oh come on…

Michael Moore got it right years ago when he said America has always had a one-party system. Your vote always goes to the demopublican/republocrat candidate.

The fact was also illustrated by an episode of the Simpsons: alien doppelgangers had kidnapped both party’s presidential candidates and when the aliens were exposed by Bart, they still had the last word: LOL, you still gotta vote for one of us!

So whether you vote “left” or “right,” the system makes sure the right candidate that’s left always gets elected.

It’s all nonsense anyway. Berg is a certifiable whack-job. By the “birthers” standards, McCain is even more dubious. In his case we have authoritative proof that he was not born in the US at all! Obama was born in Hawai’i to an American parent. He’s a citizen.

  14. cdward

    cdward said, 5 months ago

Besides that, there is no questioning that his mother was a US citizen – which makes him one.

  15. DrCanuck

What’s fun is that the constitution states the president must be a “natural born American” but never defines what that means. On American soil, from American parents, one or both, of American lineage…never says. Different folks jump to different conclusions as to what it means and then scream vociferously from their perspective.

This is very much an argument about nothing.

Striper77, is there also a way to keep Americans inside the US of A instead of littered all over the planet in military bases?

I bet that would solve most of the world’s problems.

And if you make some room for all those great Israelis they can have their own state and I know all Americans LOVE Israelis.

How about if you people give them Utah or something (kick out the handful of people that live there first of course).

  17. striper77

    striper77 said, 5 months ago

    Audieholland,

It is funny that you brought up Israel. Most of the Jewish population in America are on the North East part of America. Unfortunate, they are very liberal and vote for the democrats. That group alone is enough to turn those states solid blue. Even though they do this the liberals still do not like them. Then the liberals will call conservatives Nazi. The conservatives usually like the Jews and the liberals hate them. Maybe the liberals are the Nazi’s. The liberals are responsible for how many million abortions a year? It was Hitler that ran his campaign on Change and the working class put him in power.
Back to the bases over seas. They have shut down quit a few of them. I was in the military under Bush Sr. and we had plenty of people. I was then under Clinton for a few years and we were undermanned. That is when they shut down a lot of the military bases and ran out a large percentage of the military.
I said this to get to Obama the American terrorists president. If they get out of Iraq and Afghanistan, their will be cut backs as never seen in the military. And of course Iraq and Afghanistan will be twice a bad as they were before we entered. Their thoughts will be we left them with nothing. By the time Obama runs off most of the military and the moral will be low America will get attacked and loose in a war. The larger cities will be the major targets so the very people that put Obama in will be the first to go. It is kind of ironic that it is going to turn out that way.

    striper77 said, 5 months ago

    Dr. Cansuck,

That is pretty low trying to through your perverted lifestyle on me. When I am against all of that. I find it sickening at best.
However here is the latest from your American terrorist president:
What do you think of the fact that President Obama went to the Middle East to humiliate our country by apologizing before leaders and citizens of some of the worst governments on earth?

Rather than offering moral clarity against terrorism and vision for the future, President Obama used his influential platform at Cairo University to blame America for colonialism, conduct of the Cold War, and Muslim frustrations.

During his speech, President Obama even apologized for America’s efforts to stop terrorism after 9/11!

President Obama’s international apology tour is completely unprecedented and unpresidential. George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and even Jimmy Carter wouldn’t dream of appeasing our critics and enemies in such a reckless fashion.

President Obama is inviting danger to America’s shores and undermining our country’s credibility when he gives critical speeches of his own country in a hostile region. The President of the United States is supposed to represent what is best about America and act as our nation’s first ambassador, not first critic. We already have Hollywood and the media for that—certainly our own President shouldn’t play that role too!

As President, Ronald Reagan often invoked the concept of America as a “City Upon a Hill”—a beacon of light and freedom for the rest of the world to follow. Reagan was right in saying that often. President Obama speaks of his country, not in flattering terms, but as a historical villain deserving of disdain.

Fortunately, many Americans are tired of his reckless talk and reckless action.

Words and speeches matter a great deal, but actions matter more. President Obama is acting as irresponsibly as he speaks. He is promising to close Guantanamo without a plan for keeping the world’s most dangerous terrorists off the streets. President Obama has supported Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, a holocaust denier who routinely threatens our ally Israel, in his attempt to become a nuclear power. And President Obama has been noticeably absent on the world stage in confronting a hostile nuclear North Korea, which recently tested several missiles that could reach the United States.

audie, you got it right about 2000 and the Shrub anointment by the evil Rehnquist - I know, one should only speak good of the dead, he’s dead, Good! If those of us, the popular vote majority, had taken to the streets then there would have been mass slaughter, egged on by those entertainers on Faux and that fat drug addict who I am now calling the Barbra Streisand of the right wing, not that she is either fat or a drug addict, but I know that that is the name that will most rankle the unintelligentsia. and all he is is an entertainer. The electoral process in this country is broken, all we can do is watch in wonder as other countries try to do what we can’t.
