Deploying the razor-sharp wit and incisive take-no-prisoners satire characteristic of his generation, Gen Xer Ted Rall has become one of the most widely read editorial cartoonists in America. Twice the winner of the Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award and a Pulitzer Prize finalist, Rall's work has appeared in hundreds of newspapers, as well as such magazines as Time, Newsweek, Fortune and MAD. He is also the author of 15 books, including several graphic novels and political polemics about Central and South Asia.

Is panel 2 about the Bush Administration also?

We must ignore the war crimes already committed by the elites so that we have the time and resources to indefinitely preventatively detain the masses who might think about committing a crime at some point.

We need to keep putting pressure on him to do the right thing.

Exquisite Rall
Mattro, sadly panel 2 is all Obama and indefinite preventative detention.

meh, i got his point, but as a comic in itself, really weak.

My point being that both admins. had/have the same policy. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

mattro: Here’s the difference, though: Now that there is a president with a D after his name, everything he does is wrong and he’s “inept”.
Strange that I didn’t hear a word of that when there was a president with an R after his name…

People would still complain he’s not doing enough, even if Obama publicly flogged Bush and Cheney on the White House lawn.

This is the same cartoonist who felt like the week of Ronald Reagan’s death was the time to make sure we all knew how much he hated the man. Why should we expect civil and thoughtful insights from him?

Bpardee : «… Why should we expect civil and thoughtful insights from him?» Civility is perhaps not the province of an editorial cartoonist, but as regards «thoughtful insights», Ted Rall has consistently provided us with such. As is widely known, past behaviour is the best predictor of future behaviouŕ, which is why we expect him to continue to do so….

Charging for a comic only a week old stinks! I don’t check for new panels every week. This is really old big-business tactics! I’ve met Ted and it doesn’t sound as if this was his decision.
