   I’m sorry, but I think I disagree with Rall’s message here. The reality is, we live in a vastly diverse society, and although the direction we took in the last 8 years was wrong, I do believe the change has to happen more gradually than Rall.

   If I read him right, he’s upset that Obama isn’t ripping apart the Right entirely. Yes, he’s softpedalling too much, but I’d rather have that than the polar opposite of Bush – cultural violence, just on the other side.

   Obama is a politician, not a savior. He’s disappointed me a few times, but if we get half of what we hoped we’d get, that’s a lot more than we’ve gotten in my lifetime… and I’m 55.

   Rall misses the truth …for 8 years the left compared Bush to Hitler. The Truth is OBAMA is much closer to HITLER. They both are/were messmerizing speakers. seek/sought to silence media that disagrees with them. Both have/had state control of important industries. Hitler had the Black Shirts SA and Brown Shirts SS Obama has Acorn and SEIU to infiltrate and break-up gatherings of groups that oppose . Rall should join in a torh light parade and start singing the Obama version of the Horst Wessel song.

   For 8 years the left, (and that Includes Rall who has become basically a propagandist for Obama rather than a political cartoonist) liked to compare Bush to Hitler. Obama has much more in common with the former 3rd Reich leader. Both stress sacrificing self-interest for the “common good”, Both are messmerizing speakers, both sought and obtained control of important industries, Both have “para-military” groups that they use toquash dissenting opinions, Hitler had the SA and later the SS, Obama used ACORN and SEIU to harass the tea party groups and other “enemies of Obama. I think Ted Rall should grab a torch a march in the Obama version of Hitler’s torch light parades and start singing, with “THE OBAMA GIRL” the Obama version of the Horst Wessel Song

    I don’t watch MSNBC; I don’t have cable. I am WELL informed on the subject of ACORN and fail to see how they’re a “paramilitary group”.

    Sure. If they were trying to silence dissent. I don’t see any evidence of that, though. Can you provide evidence for your assertions?

    Ha! Some of my friends were in ACORN for a while… Said that they were barely organized at best. Kind of like the “People’s Front of Judea” from the Life of Brian movie.

    It’s funny how the right can make fun of community activists and liberals as being pot-addled, clueless hippies, and then turn around and try to stir up fear by making them out to be some kind of goose-stepping brownshirt brigade.
