Bush is too big to JAIL.
We are all slaves living in a plutocracy posing as a democracy.
Nixon walked. Reagan walked. Bush the Smarter walked. Why not George the Idiot?
As Phil Ochs wrote about the electric chair in “The Iron Lady”:
“And a rich man never died upon the chair…”

Is that Dilbert’s Alice dead in the back seat?
Corosive Frog said, 9 months ago
He’s too big to go to the electric chair (though he made generous use of it on others) but big enough to have his picture beside the words “idiot” and “crook” in the dictionary for ages to come.

I think we have a new record - Warren Harding (another Republican. Hm.) can rest in peace at last.

motivemagus - do you mean to compare Shrub to Harding on the intelligence scale or the damage to the country scale? Both are on the dim bulb side, but Buchanan and Hoover did more damage (GWB is bad enough).
motivemagus said, 9 months ago
LLeRay: I was simply thinking of rankings by future historians, who typically put Harding and Buchanan at the bottom of the list.
progran01: I rather agree with you. Bush is the one who said, in public, that a dictatorship wasn’t a bad idea as long as he was the dictator. That any sitting president could say such a thing – could be stupid enough to say such a thing, should have been cause for impeachment at once, regardless of all the other nonsense. Can you imagine what would have happened if Clinton had said something like that? Dear God!

Although (I should have added), being a good pragmatic liberal, I don’t believe in capital punishment. We should put them to work breaking rocks.

progan01, and you sir should be stuffed for being an over the top twit.
fennec said, 9 months ago
progano, this only works if you believe that death is the ultimate defeat. I don’t. Therefore, I would like to see them pay right here. All too often death is an escape. I don’t want that for these guys

Looks like in progan01 we have an over-the-top leftie to match some of our over-the-top righties…isn’t symmetry a lovely thing?

Personally, I don’t want them to die. The 9/11 terrorists died and I see it as the ultimate cowardice; start a war and not even be there to see the people without limbs, the dead childrens that result from it.
No. Let them live so they can be front row, center to see the results of their little war games.
