Deploying the razor-sharp wit and incisive take-no-prisoners satire characteristic of his generation, Gen Xer Ted Rall has become one of the most widely read editorial cartoonists in America. Twice the winner of the Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award and a Pulitzer Prize finalist, Rall's work has appeared in hundreds of newspapers, as well as such magazines as Time, Newsweek, Fortune and MAD. He is also the author of 15 books, including several graphic novels and political polemics about Central and South Asia.

Generally I like Rall’s work, but he has to get off these Nazi comparisons. It’s pathetic to say that Obama’s a Nazi becasue he taps Clinton for SS (or whatever has him in a twist). Not the same thing as the Holocaust, you idiot.

“GLAUBE MACHT FREI” ? WELCHER GLAUBE?

Uh, I get the opposite read out of it. With the title “Liberal Projection”, I figured Rall is mocking all the lefties who are up in arms about Obama picking moderates for his cabinet.

Except Rall has already made it clear he doesn’t think Obama is really liberal at all. Whether that makes him a right-wing ideologue, however…
Will he continue the “imperial” presidency? Or give it up?

comparisons to Nazis should be avoided – they simul. diminish the evil of the Nazi, elevate the “evil” of the compared, and let everyone know you’re an ideeot

Relax a little, Ted, not all nightmares come true.

September 30th, 2008 - “The U.S. Army is conducting training exercises in cities and towns across the nation for potential civil unrest as gas and food shortages are reportedly imminent.”
Hope they’ll find this Rall traitor!

Rall’s a little over the top with this, but he has a point. Some progressives continue to make excuses for Obama despite his running away from everything they believe in.

you all have a point. But I think comparing nazis to The Right is actually being unfair to the nazis. The Right turns out to be quite evil. Last week, Jeb Bush says they ought to form a “Shadow Government” to run the nation, unseen and unknown, and beyond Obama’s touch.

re: Gary
the Pres- ELECT hasn’t done anything yet – how can he be blamed ? Pres. Booosh is still in charge (as much as he ever was).
re: progan01
no diff. b/t right & left ? only an right-wing ignoramus or a foreigner would make such a claim

In a report (http://www.fbi.gov/page2/dec08/coppertheft_120308.html) issued today the FBI said the rising theft of the metal is threatening the critical infrastructure by targeting electrical substations, cellular towers, telephone land lines, railroads, water wells, construction sites, and vacant homes for lucrative profits.
