   Matt Damon put the situation succinctly - actuarial table say there is a 1 in 3 chance that John McCain will not live through a 4 year term. So we are facing the very real possibility that Miss Congeniality will become President upon McCain’s passing. I doubt a person afraid to face an open press conference will be able to face terrorists.

   why would anyone be horrified about Palin? There isn’t anything wrong with having a whacked out Ann Coulter wannabe possibly one old fart heartbeat away from running the country. A person with 1.5 years experience in small government who is already under investigation. Who just recently got her passport and has been out of the country like once. Whose views on things are more backwards than even Bush.

   What does scare me is how easy the republican faithful embraced her without even thinking about the potential consequences.
