The Terror Zone Woman: So many corpses. So many randomly scattered body parts. Don't the Palestinians know that violence never solved anything? Man: Actually, nothing could be further from the truth... the only times Israelis have paid attention to Arab demands have been after dramatic acts of terrorism. Sure, it makes Israelis hate then- but being hated is worse than the slow death of being ignored. You say violene accomplishes nothing, but neither Israel for the U.S. would be independent without violence. Look at Ireland: AFter the I.R.A. signed a peace deal, their biggest demand- British withdrawal- became impossible. It would be great if there were a way to attract attention for your cause without blowing up women and children, but we're too media-saturated and blase to pay attention to people who aren't killing us.) (Woman: Make it stop! I'll do anything!) (Man: I'll wait by the fax machine for a list of demands)
