    No, Charles Laughton Van Dorn, they are not “rather unique”; unique is an absolute and admits no degrees of comparison (at least in Standard grammar). But it’s really of little import.     It seems that for many unique has levels of that attribute instead of being simply unique as in one-of-a-kind that it means.

    It’s odd he throws Tarzan into a place where he could be killed and eaten. That would certainly prohibit him from being in the permanent collection.
