Those two “scenery” girls have been very entertaining for Tarzan. Jane who?

Tarzan appreciates feminine beauty wherever he finds it, but only Jane can actually keep up with him. ERB believed that long periods apart helped a relationship.

Tarzan must not trust anyone on the set the way he is carrying his bow and arrows around with him. I guess he never knows when he may have to shoot something dangerous, like a poisonous snake.

Finally, an offer of a free ride back to the jungle. Don’t forget to ditch that robe, Taezan, it must really reek by now.

OK, OK B’wana took a muscle relaxer last night and just got up…jeez, can’t a guy ever sleep in this jungle?
Now we see how Tarzan will return to his jungle, I guess we’re not stopping in Nairobi to pickup Jane. I do believe that Jane has been told to leave Nairobi by now, too much excessive disruptions in the big city, so she’ll be home cooking a fabulous meal for her man and I.B. George Plumpa$$! :)> How’sAboutAPirate’sBootInTheEyeAGowa!!

That and immortality. Interesting that both of ERB’s first characters, Tarzan and John Carter were, or would become (in Tarzan’s case, in a 1938 book iirc) immortal and their wives were effectively immortal as well (I can’t recall when Jane was given some sort of serum to extend her life…and the lives of her children and grand-children when they took the same serum).

    Was the serum Castor Oil?

I think you’re referring to “Tarzan’s Quest”. Little Nkima also got the immortality treatment in the book.
