interestingly, the real life movie of Cleopatra originally was not gonna have such a high budget and the heroine was going to be Joan Collins, and the movie premier was 50 years ago(1963)

Didn’t Liz Taylor take that role? I saw that movie when it came out, believe it or not.

I might ’face the future without fear" if Tarzan and I were streaking across the desert on a three horse chariot.

Yes, she did, and caused the budget to run way up, and she wasn’t that good. Once Cesar (Rex Harrison) was killed, the movie went downhill.

She really faces no fear because she’s still wearing her lucky headdress.

Can that chariot get Tarzan all the way back to the jungle? The apes miss him.

in 58 they were pretty much ready to go forward with joan, than they decided to make it bigger and with an A-list Actress, so they went with Liz, and she was first actress to get 7 figures for an acting job. and she suggested to do it in London, and the weather kept making Liz sick

Tarzan two-timing Jane with Olga on the way to the movie set, surely some dastardly sand dwellers will interfere with those plans. Can’t wait to “meet” Daddy Big Bucks and Big Dick Burton on set, now we’ll get more soap opera theatrics….oh, GOODY! :(> UghAGowa
    PLEASE….bring back the T-Rex!

And here for years I was under the impression that Dick (Burton) was making Liz sick! Will wonders never cease? :)> MisInformedAGowa!!

As a bald face boy of 12, the whole movie totally blew me away. May be the source of the fond memories.

Finally married my ‘Liz’ in 1981. She looked like Victoria Principle, however.
