    At some point Tarzan is going to have to stop eating those mushrooms that the apes keep giving him.

    I’m betting it’s a beautiful woman. And not a moment too soon, either, for the sake of this storyline.

    It’s Jane! Look what I found on Ebay!
    Tarzan: Show me the Chariotfax.

    It’s…..JANE…..running away from her Nairobi creditors in her newest mode of transportation! Only 4 horsepower so not all that fast. Or, maybe it’s Kirk Douglas aka Spartacus being chased by the Romans! It could also be Buster Crabbe aka Flash Gordon coming to give Tarzan a lift back to wherever…. These story-writers sure know how to throw we readers into time/space continuums! :)> IAmSpartacusAGowa!!

    I’m betting on “lost Roman colony.”

    @SKJAM!

    Probably lost because of a Space-Time anomaly in the area. One of two. The other is from the late Cretaceous.

    @Night-Gaunt49

    I’m pretty sure that Burroughs himself mined the “lost colony” bit a few times. Once with Romans and once with Crusaders. And those may not have been the only times.
