    You would think the commander of the fort would have sent a couple people to help out at the back wall where the immediate danger of the ladder is. After all, the other attacks don’t seem to have a ladder so they are going to have a hard time breaking in. Not impossible, but harder.

    Someone was around the back watching out, which is how the major knew they were being attacked there.
    Tarzan must have worked his way around since there were no ladders in the front.

    Found out that Dr. Jane Goodall read Tarzan as a youth and thought herself a better Jane than the one in the stories!
