Ouch. That’s what happens when you work two weeks ahead of schedule.

And now, they’ve lost two in a row. Topical.

Even with the 2 losses, I think 21-2-3 is still an astounding start.

At the risk of jinxing these guys, if you had asked me when I wrote this if I thought they would make it this far losing only two games I would have doubted it. If you ask the Edmonton Oilers what it takes to beat the Blackhawks, they would say six goals. That’s a tough hockey team to beat.

Just wait until my Tampa Bay Lightning figure out how not to blow a third period lead !

A guy I work with has their schedule up, with the line “48 games, one goal.” I told him that would really suck for a season…

The selfish bums aren’t getting one red cent out of me this sham of a “season.” I’m boycotting. And I love hockey. 3 billion – best season in the history of the game, Kings win their fist cup (I’m not a Kings fan) and they still lock out / strike. Screw the selfish bums. Go a year without fans’ support and see what happens. Hurt lots of regular working joes, particularly in Canada. I’m boycotting.

Hey, we don’t talk like that in Chicago … oh, wait, yeah we do.

Avalanche ended that streak of 0 wins in the normal loss column
