Except that Tebow took the Broncos to the play-offs and beat Pittsburgh in the first round. Explain that, Tank.

I’m afraid Stever Spurrier is no longer available. In college he was their quarterback, punter and place kicker.

The Broncos, after Tebow took over and Fox significantly scaled back (read: dumbed down) the offense, played one of the lightest schedules in the NFL. Their victories came against such world-beating teams as Miami (6-10) and Minnesota (3-13), and against wounded teams such as Chicago (no Jay Cutler, no Matt Forte). Three of their 8 wins came under the old overtime rules—more than the other 11 playoff teams combined. They finished the season 8-8 and needed a tiebreaker to beat out San Diego and Oakland for the division title.
And most tellingly, they backed into the playoffs, losing their last 3 regular season games.

Blown coverage on that OT play yes the team repsonded to Tebow last year. Since he cannot run a conventional offense he will never be the QB he thinks he is in his own mind. Great athelete but with run option offenses you have to have the right pieces in place for it to work and Denver was not that kind of offense.
