Too true. They’ll fight like h3ll if they think you’re even leaning on their properties; but they’re not above larceny to get what they want. Ever noticed how much the current Denver Broncos helmet logo looks like the logo of the Baltimore Stallions of the CFL? Look it up.

In the first quarter of the final replacement refs game—you know, the intertouchdownception game—I saw a fan sitting in the stands behind the end zone, holding a sign that said, “SCABS!” And I thought…the owners wouldn’t care if every seat had a fan holding that kind of sign, as long as those seats were full. Because yeah, that sign is bad PR, but that fan also paid for a ticket, paid for parking, paid for concessions, etc. etc. And that’s all they REALLY care about.
