Inflation - gets U right in the wallet. I’ve never been to a professional game (been to lots of college football games). Is $21 in 2009 dollars typical? What a ripoff if it is…wouldn’t surprise me though. I’ll just watch the games on TV with my $6 6-pack & friends.

This is one of the reasons I stopped going to big league games fifteen years ago and exclusively go to see minor league and college matches. Your ticket costs a tenth as much, you get to sit closer to the action, parking costs a fraction of the price (if it costs anything at all) and the concession prices are half at least.

Gotta bring your own beer and sneak it into the college games… (but it’s not very hard to do!) ;-)
