Is this going to be a set-up for Tank to remind his fans that he actually renounced his ESU diploma a few years back?
He did it at their graduation in protest of the illegitimate degrees that the athletes were getting, and he felt guilty because he believed he had a questionable degree. Seems like this would be a great opportunity to protest the alumni athletic fee…

Anybody really think that ESU alums (or anybody else’s alums) would pay such a fee? For those that would, there’s already “(Team Name) Clubs” at every school…
Many (if not most) athletic departments DO NOT make a “profit”… neither do Fine Arts departments, but nobody ever complains about that!

What percentage, on average, of a typical university’s total income is funneled into the athletic department, and what percentage is funneled into the art department? I’m just curious. Does anybody know?

“4deerinmyyard”, you’ll have an easier time getting accurate info on nuclear weapon designs than you would how much money a major college’s athletic department brings in and how that money is distributed.
I mean that literally.

Well, many colleges can fill a 25,000 seat stadium to watch their football team every week. How much money does the art department bring in to compare with that? I would think it fair that monitary outlay to be proportionate.

Check Ol’ Goaler’s remark above.
