    Amazing, every day Adrian comes on, makes a hateful comment, then will leave as if he has one something. He will not argue his point only make insults. And he calls us haters.

    So, how’s the ozone layer doing these days?
    What about Global Cooling of the 70’s?
    Gorebal Warming is now Climate Change…
    .
    Just remember, just 60 or so years ago we didn’t know what the bottom of the ocean looked like, 75 years ago plate tectonics didn’t exist as knowledge.
    .
    That scientists are trying to predict the climate of the planet on data collected on .0000000001% or less of the planet’s history doesn’t impress me.

    In “Space Chronicles. . .” Nel deGrasse Tyson makes several interesting observations. If the Earth were a classroom globe, our atmosphere would only be as thick as the varnish applied to that globe. (not hard to impact) He also notes that he can accept the science of AGW and climate change, even though he’s not a climate specialist, merely an astrophysicist who studies the universe.

    “Deniers” only study their navel lint, great expertise.

    Yes climate change is a force of nature, but man distinctly influences this change.

    On the lack of response to your question about jobs bills, I believe their silence is the answer, there are none, so no response is forthcoming.

    @Enoki

    “So, how’s the ozone layer doing these days?”

    Glad you asked. As noted above, we have started to repair the ozone layer. However, we still have lingering effects. Remember that ozone is responsible for filtering UV light from the sun.

    As an optometrist, I can tell you that I am now seeing cataract formation in people in their TWENTIES, as a result of over-exposure to UV light. A few decades ago, I didn’t see the beginnings of cataracts until people were in their forties or fifties.

    And ask a dermatologist about the alarming increase in the appearances of skin cancers, again due to increased UV exposure.

    Of course, you can always argue that we can’t prove cause/effect. You would be wrong, but it is a common way out of having to confront a conclusion you prefer not to believe. Can you just decide that these are coincidences? If so, I applaud your consistency.

    “What about Winter Temperatures and Snow Falls being broken? Shouldn’t we have less snow due to Global Warming”

    NO. NO WE SHOULD NOT.

    I don’t know why this has to be said to many times.

    What’s the cause of climate change denial? Can it be stopped before it’s too late?

    Just once I’d like to see someone who doesn’t believe that the climate is changing come up with a reputable scientific reference supporting their belief. It’s not enough to say, “I don’t believe it” or “I know it’s wrong”. You have to give some kind of argument that has some kind of credibility. Nothing posted here comes even close.

    @Enoki

    For example, Enoki says:
    “So, how’s the ozone layer doing these days?
    What about Global Cooling of the 70’s?
    Gorebal Warming is now Climate Change…”
    And various posters show that these questions are irrelevant. Will Enoki stop? Will Enoki even try to defend his position? Don’t bet on it.

    For example, Tigger says,
    “No one has been able to explain why we had the exact same climate extremes 200 years ago before we had the industries we have today.”
    And various posters point out that this claim isn’t true. Does Tigger try to defend his position? Don’t bet on it. No, the safe bet is that he will make the same claim tomorrow or next week.

    For example, mdavis says, “Climate change is a force of nature. Man caused climate change is a force of politics and lying propaganda.”
    Does he give any evidence to back up this assertion? Nope. Why use evidence?

    Nantucket; don’t expect those who aren’t literate to do anything other that spout disinformation presented to them as being “literal”.
