    All governments spy on each other, at least those that can. Governments don’t have friends they have interests.

    Ah, yes, representing the truth of the last century of “spy vs. spy” doesn’t fly in the TEA piddle puddle.

    The US spying cannot compare with the KGB. After they lost their jobs with the fall of the USSR, many wrote books. The only reason the Soviets were able to put a man into space was because they stole the technology from the Americans, according to the former KGB authors, and they should know.

    The fact that the US space program was a year behind the Soviet space program was NOT a problem for the KGB: they stole US secrets from 1960 and gave them to Soviet scientists working on rockets back in 1957. The NSA can’t hold a candle to the KGB exploits to which former agents confessed in their memoirs.

    We don’t need to spy on the U.S., we just have to wait until a Manning or Snowden had enough and spills the beans…

    Exactly Right.
    If you cannot spy on your allies who can you spy on?

    @Debt Free

    Hey…when are YOU going to answer questions? Like the one I asked you several days back about your ridiculous comment about NO cities in PA have declared bankruptcy. Remember that? Your state capital — Harrisburg — is the posterchild for a financially sound municipality right?!?
