    Hope not! If anybody from the Congress’s GOP side want that to succeed their are Tea Party candidates waiting in the wings.

    Screw that Stuart Benson! Dems got Obamacare all on their own down party lines. Just stuffed it down everyone’s throat without reading it first. Michelle’s buddies got to head up the website. They’ve had THREE years to get it right! They’ve spent over a BILLION dollars to get it done! THAT’S why we’re holding hearings! Because this Obamacare train wreck is a total fiasco of a failure! You guys own it!

    As well they should since the Democrats OWN Obamacare lock, stock, and barrel. Obamacare is a wholly owned subsidary of the Democrat party and is now being shown to be so badly flawed as to be unfixable.
    The web site issues are just the tip of the iceburg. There are security issues galore. Then there is the problems with pricing of policies, quality of coverage, deductables, and the rest that goes with that that is driving people to choose not to have insurance at all rather than pay an exhorbant price for lousy coverage.
    Next you have the penality issue. The IRS is in no way ready or set to collect this “tax” from those who fail to sign up. They have no way to identify those who haven’t no means to determine what they would pay or anything.
    In fact, at this point it looks like the sign up for policies and those going into medicade are going to drive pricing into a health insurance “death spiral” that collapses the whole system.

    Had Boehner not refused to allow an open vote on the CR, for two weeks the press would have had nothing to cover except the roll-out of the ACA.

    Instead, we heard Obama’s speech: two young women with serious medical conditions who could not afford any healthcare were now receiving the best medical treatment in the world for a total out-of-pocket cost of less than $100 a month, at no cost to the government.

    And the only things anyone heard about the ACA for the first sixteen days of October were Obama’s speeches, which most voters still believe.

    So Boehner has done as much as he could to ensure the ACA succeeds!

    If it succeeds it will go the way of Social Security and other things fought against by Cons like yourself that are here to stay.

    @Tigger

    You would be hard pressed to find any doctor or hospital that would do a transplant for someone so old. It just doesn’t happen unless you are rich and force the issue.

    Actually Tigger only made up part of it. Obama did say that a transplant for a ninety-year old may not necessarily be the best treatment. Which is true of course, but the health reform critics are not noted for their application of common sense or accuracy. Obama did not say to take her mother to a hospice.

    OK, Tigger. You’re in charge! You can give a transplant to a 23 year old mother with cystic fibrosis, or you can give the transplant to the 90 year old. What will you do? What will you do…

    If the web site worked flawlessly, it would be the worst thing that ever happened. A disaster of impeachable proportions.

    If the web site failed completely and totally and the ACA flopped completely it would be the worst thing that ever happened. A disaster of impeachable proportions.

    I’m about to give up on the GOP. they can no longer hear themselves above the din of their own screaming.

    Medical boards control donor organs, and I don’t think it’s easy to bribe your way to the top of the list. There is the black market, of course.I assume that anyone who can pay upwards of half a million for the transplant might go that route, but you never know for sure who’s organs you’re getting that way….
