Hmm, letting the international community, yes, including Russia, do something smart, like removing the WMDs under supervision, and using the International Criminal Court to prosecute “bad apples”, IS a lot smarter than blowing up still MORE people in the name of “humanitarianism”.

The third option is send aid to the people, including kits for chemical weapons survival.

I sure hope that what I’m hearing about the peacefull removal of chemical weapons works out! The question remains however , what happens then. Are regional conflicts between religious or political groups tolerated or do we draw another “red line” on them. Unfortunately hatred and disagreements between peoples around the globe are as much a part of human behavior as farting and music , all cultures have both , or so I’ve been told!

Maybe. Russia has made a call for putting the chemical weapons under International control & Assad’s regime responded favorably. I don’t see Assad submitting himself to the ICC, nor do I see Russia backing that move.

(Thankfully!) There is no support for another prolonged military operation in the Mid-East. The limited strikes are no more of a guarantee of eliminating the weapons than a UN team. If Putin & Assad can work out a deal, that’s the best option on the console.

The sad truth is the fighting will go on in Syria for years to come. It’s far from the only place on the planet where bystanders are being slaughtered.

Push the Nothing Button and man up and admit you were stupid to draw the redline and say what NBC News has him on tape saying.

You’re aware TIGGER only watches the National Barrack Channel (NBC), right? If he, and you, actually tuned in to Fox now and then, you might learn something.

“…… If he, and you, actually tuned in to Fox now and then, you might learn something….”
    .
With Hannity you would learn how ridiculously partisan and stupid (but smooth) it is possible to be. I swear if Obama were to engineer and deliver the Gettysburg Address, the I Have a Dream Speech, and the Ten Commandments, Hannity would somehow find them weak.

Putin has a vested interest in eliminating stocks of poison gas. Russia has a large population of Muslims, some in and around Chechnya who just may like to get their hands on a few canisters of poison gas. A little pressure and he just may do the right thing.

So far it’s been less than 24 hours since Kerry’s gaff presented the world an opportunity. Obama has claimed he and Putin talked of removing WMD’s at G20. Israel has yet to chime in , and some are trying to spin in the political angles that each player achieves by participation. No wonder this planet is so much fun – all these clowns running the show!

    Kerry’s remark was carefully planned.

OK, you guys beat me to it…I was just about to point out that this may be a brilliant strategy by the Obama administration. Couldn’t help but remember the Cuban missile crisis…bluff (particularly when there is a strong chance it ISN’T a bluff) can work to bring about a desired result.

Hmm, I shall repeat myself from yesterday. I think the anti-war Obama and Kerry have actually “punk’d” the opposition and even used Putin, and France, to get something even Israel will buy into !! Real “strength” is knowing when to use the force at your command, and when to hold it in your “hand”.

Polls show 70% -80% of Americans against a military strike – so now you’re calling liberals and conservatives both rednecks are you?
