    No wonder they never crafted a jobs bill, it would be to much work.

    The House Republicans since 2010 take two days off for every day the “work.”

    I don’t think they’ll be taking a break from fund raising.

    @dairyman23

    Maybe he means 40,000 minimum wage jobs where the workers are trying to clean up the goop from pipeline breaks.

    Or more likely where that oil is going; certainly not in the USA.

    But it is Heritage Foundation/Newt Gingrich/Willard Romney/Barack Obama—care. You guys were for it till you were against it. Not what the Liberals and most every other thinking person wanted. Single payer, cheaper, easier and better. We are still stuck with Corporate Health Care—-which you know and love.

    @cjr53

    Maybe 2,000 jobs for the time it takes to put in the pipeline. Not much more. Cleanup would be dangerous and poorly paid. Not the kind of jobs we need.

    The Keystone pipeline will create fewer than 400 permanent jobs, period. Like many “job creator” programs our conservative friends in Congress supposedly support, most are only for part-time hammock and basket weavers, big call for those!
