Funny. But the pope doesn’t make the rules.

I guess this toon is in reference for the pope not being “pro-choice”. The pro-choice argument is simple; life begins when the government says it does, and to the pope there is a higher power than government.

Like the pope said, the back door is closed.

No, it’s not about pro-choice. It’s that the pope said “gay men can be priests, who am I to judge?” with one hand but says “no women in the clergy, and I am the one to judge!” with the other. And PAJ — you’re an idiot. You’re doing no favors to the conservative cause by making conservatives look so stupid. Go away.

    Reason nailed it.
Don’t you people read or at least filter the news broadcasts. I was filtering the news last night when I heard that “women will still not be allowed to be priests”.

This cartoon hits the nail on the head! (No pun intended, ladies). Why is the pope backing off from the gays, but still disenfranchising women as equals to serve in the church? As a Catholic, we revere Mary, Jesus’ mother. There are also writings of Mary Magdalen being loved by Jesus as an equal to his apostles, or maybe even highest among them because they become jealous when He tells Mary things He doesn’t share with the guys. So, why not give them full equality and allow them to become priests and deacons?
