It’s easier to be nonproductive. A true leech on society. Just like Mike Lee, who couldn’t manage his house payments.

Repealing laws is just a diversion from their true policy, which is to obstruct anything that might make Obama look good, no matter the consequences.

Do you know how many laws there are. No, and neither does anyone else. The point is that there are too many laws and regulations. We need a whole bunch of laws repealed and Federal departments abolished. Starting with the IRS and the NSA.

While the ‘toon is funny, it shouldn’t be lost that Kong was a VICTIM, not the perpetrator!

“The point is that there are too many laws and regulations.”

So name some specific laws that should be repealed.

If you don’t pay Congresspeople, then only rich people will be able to serve in Congress. Sort of like today.

The worst speaker of the house since Hastert.
Just 6% of Americans think Congress is doing an “excellent” or “good” job.

But they have been counter productive. They have been laboring to halt most govt action. Not just doing nothing. Passed more laws against women’s health (abortion) than at any previous time. Their first 3 laws passed by them was when they took office in 2010.

You realize we are paying these worthless leeches $174,000 a year? And $20,000 more for boner.

BHO and the Dems have compromised on the repeal of Obamacare-less.. they allowed their donors and themselves to be “free” of it…

If you don’t know how many laws there are, how on Earth do you reach the conclusion there are too many? Besides, what kind of laws do you mean: local, state, or federal? Civil? Criminal? Regulatory? … Oh, I see, you’re just mindlessly repeating a right wing talking point, devoid of thought. There are definitely too many of those!

There are good laws and bad laws, just like people. If Congress’ job is only to repeal laws, how will good law be created? What redress would citizens have against the excesses of corporate (and even individual) greed and avarice? The idea that their only job is to repeal law is like saying the only job of police is to eliminate people. Just very shallow thinking.
