Filling corporate “large ess”. The real joke is the phrase “family farm”, when looking at agriculture in the U.S..

This bill should be protecting FAMILY farmers. Internationals do not care about the land, the community or even the state.
Many farmers work two jobs in order to keep the land they love and to do the work they feel driven to do. And some farmers are on FOOD STAMPS, as are too many of our military dependents.
Is it true that an agri business called Monsanto has been able to get a bill passed protecting them from any harm their genetically modified plants might cause?
Can I get insurance that protects me from being punished for being drunk and driving?
This issue angers me on so many levels.

I want a fusion reactor for my motor scooter (that can’t use ethanol mixed fuel without destroying all seals.)

But, on a serious note, if , and it’s a big if, containment is achieved in an affordable manner for fusion to be practical, it would be great! However, an “accident” would make Chernobyl look like a kid’s cap pistol going off.

Of course they’ll vote for this – over $7 million in farm subsidies has gone to members of Congress since 1995.

Your usually pretty balanced, fair and gonna admit it, downright sharp. This post though reeks of Kool Aid. Just because your on food stamps doesn’t mean you get good nutrition. Those puppies can pay for ding dongs and ho hos just as well as paying for green beans and carrots.
The mostly balanced left leaning opinion has gotta go to Radish, great point from him and shame on the Republicans.
