Yes they farm it out so that they have plausible deniability but it never works because it really isn’t plausible at all.

Just bought some furniture, well made, not cheap, didn’t know until went to the warehouse and saw the boxes that we found out it was made in Viet Nam! So much for those furniture manufacturers in the “union free” “right to work” Carolinas and the “south”!

Dear Comrade dtroutma: The furniture made in the Carolinas is high quality. It sell to people who want quality.

Dear Comrade Carlson: Those workers use the money they make, which is way above the average income in their countries, to provide for their families.

Even by their country’s piss poor standards they are paid low wages. And in slavery conditions. Wage slavery. Just like what some many Conservative God fearing Republicans want here.

The thing I love about right-wing morons is that they don’t understand the use of overseas labor to drive salaries DOWN here in the U.S., while increasing profits and bonuses for CEO’s etc. Capitalism, regulated, is a very good, probably, yes, the best economic system, but Corporate America has long been working on creating feudalism, and their great got was Ron Reagan.

And also that the quality of goods sold in this country has declined precipitously as a result of the market pressure from the “walmartization” process. I don’t think these regressive morons are as innocently ignorant as they seem, they’re probably just part of the whole fox noise propaganda machine.

Without fairness to even the playing field all we get is bondage.

I think there’s a difference between fairness and the “oneness” of socialism. Fairness would be the balance between insatiable greed of corporate management and the implacable greed of the union bosses on the backs of their members.
It’s the realization that when everyone works, everyone should benefit. When times are tough everyone should feel the hurt, but not so much that the business dies or workers are turned into slaves.
We see the extreme abuse we want to see at the exclusion of all else. There aren’t always corporate sociopaths running the show and there aren’t always corrupt union bosses either. In each case where we see an extreme, the pendulum needs to swing the other way. Deep down we all know this. This is Fairness.
