Running these two for ANY kind of federal office in 2014 (and especially in 2016) will result in a Democratic Party landslide that will give total control of both the Congress and the presidency to the Democrat Party. Unlike the more liberal here and elsewhere, I as a relatively moderate (who somewhat leans to the left in at least some areas) actually do not wish to see this totally happen. But if the CPAC and Tea Party types insist on this, then the rest of the more conservative movement here in the US might get just that!!

In all, the party’s self-assessment lists 219 recommended changes as it seeks to recover from its losses in 2012.

What has been “given away” that you are so on guard about? One of the Cons speaking points is that but they rarely give any examples. Name at least 5 done by this President and Congress.

You forget The Tea Party is like the Old Soviet Union,,
It’s not Competence or Ability to lead, Its dedication to the Party. You can be any type of ignorant bigot but the party will back you as long as you sacrifice yourself on the alter of the GOP and The Tea Party.

C-PAC clearly illustrated that conservatives have finally lost control of the message. The bitterness, effete anger and ugly negativity that shone through Sarah Palin’s once pretty face during her address was the sign that she (and they) have descended into a nasty, brutish resentment and a childish refusal to take their heads out of the sand to see that things are changing in the world and in America. They’re just too sad to even be funny any more!
