“And once we are done here in Detroit, our unit is getting shipped overseas, where we might see some REAL combat!”

Hooray for us! & only eight decades behind the Russians!

This notion that front-line combat is about fighting in the trenches and foxholes is mostly an outdated concept from WW2.

Politically Correct insanity again weakening our military. Save the last bullet for yourselves, ladies. It will be more merciful than what happens when muhammad captures you…

I’ll just answer quoting Gary Williams above:‘they are probably safer on a battlefield than in a barracks with their fellow male soldiers.’
About a third of all female soldiers have experienced a sexual assault. 19 000 incidents in 2010.
‘In the same week that the House armed services committee learned that sexual assault and rape at Lackland Air Base in San Antonio was almost commonplace – 59 victims of sexual assault have been identified and 32 drill sergeants and training inspectors have been charged with crimes or policy violations including rape – Brigadier General Jeffrey Sinclair, who had served five tours of Afghanistan, was arraigned in Fort Bragg on a series of sexual misconduct charges, including forcible sodomy.’

Yes Blindsided, you would pull the amorphous “political correct” card. Except the PC thing to do is to keep women married, at home, pregnant and do whatever her Christian husband wants. This is the opposite.

What makes you think women don’t face that everyday, everywhere?
ab9ua said, 4 months ago
Just to remind a few people that have not been on the planet very long, women have put themselves and their lives on the line pretty much for freaking ever in order to protect the values they believed in… so, frankly, this discussion is pretty much bullshiski, as far as I’m concerned
