Don’t worry, you are going to be all right. What was it that FDR said? “The only thing we have to fear is fear itself”. Wise words…

I guess they have to pass new feel good laws instead of doing important things for the people that elected them. Commercial volume is as important to me as gay marriage and abortion.

Another one of your non sequitur responses. Do you ever think before you post?

Krugman’s NYTimes Opinion on this issue is really worth reading,www.nytimes.com Dec 13th, “The GOP’s Existential Crisis”

We should humor the Righties, they are hurting real bad now and are having a civil war in their their own party. One that is increasingly become a regional party not national.

Krugman is a Lib Loon. He has never been Right (Always Left) on anything. His awards are in the same category as Obama’s, Libs propping up Libs……“Aliens from Space are coming” One of his more notable excretions.

Krugman nailed it. Again.

Even the Fox “news” viewers that post here are unable to identify what spending cuts and loophole closures should be invoked.

Leaders of the Republicans are Boehner, McConnell, Grover Norquist, and Rush Limbaugh, with the constant hidden, malevolent, manipulation of the Koch Brothers.

Which of those people will make the country better?

Just because an issue isn’t important to YOU, doesn’t mean it is not important to others. I would put marriage equality & the right to plan pregnancy higher on the list of priorities than loud commercials. The Calm Act had near unanimous support in Congress. Apparently dislike of loud commercials is about the only thing Congress agrees on.
But, you’re right. We have bigger issues. Let’s see the detailed list of how the Republicans will cut spending to balance the budget.
