Why do you think Obama has made the big push for Green energy ? Did you think it was because it his favorite color ? Mittens whinning about coal is a smoke screen just the voter fraud issue. Most people don’t know that coal production is at an all time high, Coal inventories are at an all time High, Prices peaked this year at $73 a ton (the Highest since 2008 when gas was 4.25 a gallon) and coal producers stock in the markets are at an all time high. Coal fired power plants produced 35% of electricity in 2010 and 19% in 2011 because their capacity was replaced by cleaner gas powered electricity generators…That was Obama. Mittens wants to build more coal fired power plants because that is what the Koch brothers want him to do (Guess how many coal companies they own)

Take your choice, they are interchangeable depending on which side of the fence you are on.

Yes, and the temperature here went from 39 degrees to 58 degrees, we should all become like Chicken Little and run around and say the sky is falling. Global warming is the scam to take money from America and distribute it to dictators. Then we can all ride unicorns and eat rainbows!

To channel the late Andy Rooney,“J’ever notice how it warms up when the sun rises, and how it gets warmer during the day, and then it cools down again at night?”

Thank you for the simplicity or idiocy. Breaking heat records by the thousands this past year. The hottest 10 months for the planet this year. Facts mean nothing to you.

Okay, logic is not a strong suit for you, but “taking money from America and distributing it to dictators” is a pretty accurate description of what the fossil fuel industry has been doing since ~1950.

Hottest year, globally, on historical record: 2010; although 2012 might beat it.
Number of heat records broken in the US in 2012: over 40,000 daily records.
Facts, indeed.

Something I have been wondering is IMA for real or just trying to make the Republicans look stupider that they are.

Eryx cited facts? Sometimes an idiot is an idiot. And one who finds that "it gets warmer during the day, and then it cools down again at night” are the facts that dispute climate change is an idiot.

Tell it to the Dinosaurs! Oh, wait, they are not here any longer. They didn’t believe in “global warming” either, did they?
