    Most delicious aspect of the whole debacle: Scott Walker, Governor of Wisconsin, famous for going after unions of teachers, firefighters, and cops, now fully supports the professional referees and their union, because the scabs cost him a football game. What a hypocritical wanker. Let the communities rot, but get the union to protect those Packers!

    Replacement referees should apply for work at the US State Department.
    .
    This administration can’t tell the difference between a terrorist murder of an American ambassador and a bump in the road.
    .
    And, they don’t care.

    She’s been mugging people on that corner for years. This time she ran into a good citizen with a concealed carry permit.*

    So the ref’s now work two hours a week for the season and get $173,000 and that’s OK, but teachers in Chicago are so greedy.

    Florida has proven how well this “alternative” works, as in Zimmerman.

    @SkepticCal

    The murder was accidental since they wanted to kidnap the ambassador but since it happened in the act of a felony they are dead either way as much as those 4 unfortunates. Only the terrorists still walk.

    I Agree! Too many “cops” I know of like the power it gives them and are just hoping for the day they may “Blow a perp away.” For most it would be a sickening feeling once the knowledge they had killed someone sank in.
    Welcome back Mr. Trout. I didn’t know if it was illness or the internet that was keeping you away. Stay Cool.

    Completely off track, but has everybody considered what would happen if the Internet were to “crash” permanently? If there are folks you like and want to maintain contact with, exchanging contact(telephone, snail mail addresses, etc.) info might be a good move. Bad trends are building, and anything could happen. My main worry is an economic collapse, brought on by the extreme concentration of wealth and power, backed by an enormously bloated military. Yeah, that is YOU, Mitt…
