Many Libyans have come forward to point out they do NOT “hate America” and cared about our ambassador as he cared for them. Of course, showing those folks doesn’t “make it” in the press here, or the political drive that can only be called, “Roving”.

Classic. Not indicative of every Libyan, by any means, but still, classic! Why don’t you have more comments? You’re one of the more talented artists on the site.

Who knows, maybe people in the Mid-East REALLY do want to live under a repressive Religious-Based Theocracy, dating back to the 900s.
    Well, let’s let them.
Just quit spending money there, pull the troops out in an accelerated withdrawal schedule, and let them twist in the wind!

The attackers included foreign fighters too.

If we assume just one group represents the whole what does one on the outside see when they look at the U.S. – Tea Party? OWS? Westburo Church? Packer Fans?

We maintain varying degrees of quiet relations with the governments of these places, such as Egypt for example, despite recent insults, because we still need to have military access to the Middle-east to Iraq and Afghanistan. You know, safe air-space fly over permission, jet base refueling, ports to unload hardware and supplies intelligence sharing etc. Pirate227 also is correct to point out that being attacked by what looks like locals, may not be the case. Google the Meadows Mountain Massacre for a good example.

How would Americans react if some foreigners made what they called ‘art’ that consisted of Jesus covered in urine?

It’s already been done. Got publicity, but no one was killed for it.

This strip is classic stereotyping. There’s lots of evidence that a lot of Libyans supported the US and denounced the killings.

Bring back the dictators…….and stop all aid. Wow did we make a mistake supporting this Arab Spring BS. SOMEBODY really dropped the ball.

I’ll vote for Murphy as dictator of Libya.

Murphy is an idiot — the Arab spring happened without our support. We jumped in when we saw which way the wind was blowing. We did intervene in Libya, which saved thousands of lives and got at least one country on our side. What’s happening in Egypt is much more troubling than what happened in Libya — the Libyans are 90% on our side. The Egyptians… looks less like it. But if we abandon them, it leaves Israel pretty well stuck with no one to talk to, since they’ve got a president who believes in bossing other countries around (even us, their biggest benefactor) and doesn’t discuss anything with anyone.

The simple-mindedness of the American Redneck is appalling. A foreign country may be 95% in support of America, yet if 5% riot and attack an American consulate, the Rednecks are ready to bomb the entire country off the map.

The poor guy appears to be out of ammo, and out of gas. He needs US aid, provided by US taxpayers to survive and continue to be active.

It is obvious that what happened on Sept. 11 was preplanned.
