And the fact that the incredibly dense GOP shill cartoonist doesn’t get it shows how soon HE will be looking for real work.

What not to get? All that is represented is true. And it is against the GOP.

Dignity can’t be lost. It can only be let go of.

    Tell it to the starving.

Just because you are starving does not mean you have no dignity. It is shallow to presume some economic position is what creates or destroys dignity. Having worked with the poor and incredibly poor in Peru years ago, I can tell you that the most lowly economically do indeed show dignity regardless of their station in life. It is the materialism of the left that presumes dignity is somehow tied to “things” someone might have. The government however, with welfare can ask you to give up your dignity with its self perpetuating system where work is deemed secondary to “things” the government gives you.

Actually, the cartoon doesn’t ascribe blame… It’s just describing the trends of the last couple of decades.

Money, of course, doesn’t go in and out of existence; it circulates. So when it leaves the middle class, guess where it goes?

    How so?

You can’t face the fact Obama has made a bad situation much worse, not better.
Before you blame he Republican Congress for this, stop and remember this mess did not begin until The Democrats took Control of Congress in January 2007 and held Control of Congress until January 2011.

Hence, if it was Bush’s Fault, then it is Obama’s fault today

Stuart, you are only looking at it from the perspective of someone with compassion, empathy, or a heart. NeoconMan has pointed out that there is at least one other way to look at it.

    Try this:

“I just want to know how many jobs were created,” Gardner said during the hearing.

“If you’re looking at the direct jobs, this one estimate has direct jobs created at 3,666 in the construction phase, and direct jobs created at 355,” Sherlock said. “Direct jobs would just be the construction jobs and the ongoing operations and maintenance jobs. But if you wanted to look at the supporting jobs in other industries then you’d want to look at the other figures.”“So for direct jobs — just if we look at the first year, this is average jobs per year, it’s 355 jobs per year — in two years, 355 jobs created a year, $10 billion?” Gardner asked.

The road that we are currently headed is on course to serfdom. Bush (a progressive Republican) had us headed there, and while Obama said he would change that course, he’s doubled-down on everything that Bush did to “turn us around.” I can’t tell you that Romney will change course, but I CAN tell you that inevitably our country will implode following Obama’s insanity.
