    He can always preach religious paranoia, like Sanctimonious.

    On second thought, no, that won’t work for Mitt

    Trouble is, he can’t offshore jobs, leverage the debt of the country, and pay ALL the citizens millions in a way that dodges fair taxes.

    I’ve noticed the GOP candidates like to talk down the economy saying how much worse things are under Obama. They would sooner hope we fall into a new recession just so they can reclaim the white house

    The economy is not improving. There might be some hiring now by those anticipating an Obama loss and more GOP congressional gains, but gas prices will rise and choke off any real growth until we remove the Obama premium from the economy. But O wanted energy to be unaffordable. He said so before he took office. We have the tape. Libs still deny it. They say the audiotape’s been photoshopped. That’s right, photoshopped!!!

    Sorry, but like a cast iron airplane, that won’t fly…not after all the times weve heard conservatives on ths board complaining that the Senate Dems are refusing to let any of the House measures pass.

    The ‘forgtten 14’, remember that? The credit goes to Obama, not the TEA-Party.

    Mr. Adams, Who controls the price of gasoline? Oh, Yes. It is the oil companies who received $billions in tax subsidies and paid no taxes last year, who export the oil from the Alaskan pipeline and whose CEOs and directors get multi-millions in salaries and bonuses. Do they want the Conservatives in control? Of course, because their income is taxed less, their business is subsidized and they have promises of opening the ANWAR to drilling and the oil pipeline to the gulf where it can be sold and shipped elsewhere, not used in the U.S.

    If “editorial cartoonists” had to actually explain their insipid scribbling, then idiots like Carlson would be totally out of luck.

    @Heavy B

    When Obama was a legislator, he did nothing whatsoever. All he did was campaign for president, like he’s done for the past 3+ years. Since he’s been president, he’s spent MORE during that time than Bush did in eight years, and in four MORE years he’ll TRIPLE it. In ‘08, he called Bush’s spending “unpatriotic,” so what would he call HIS OWN spending?

    By the way, how is the unemployment rate falling, when there aren’t any new job’s being created? If you check the actual numbers of the US workforce with those who are out of work, the rate is over 16%, nearly double what the “official” number is, because it only counts people who are accepting unemployment insurance.

    All of this is going to come down like a ton of bricks to everyone eventually, because I don’t see ANYONE stopping the idiocy in Washington, DC. Formally well-to-do Greeks are dumpster-dining. It’s coming HERE. Count on it.

    Oil price is effected by supply and demand. When demand exceeds supply, then the price of that product increases. That’s elementary-school stuff By the way, INFLATION, which effects the worth of a currency will also effect price, causing prices to go up. It’s SAD that this sort of simple stuff has to be explained to you. That’s what schooling that indoctrinates, rather than educates gets you.

    Not as sad as an angry idiot who’s dumb enough to think he’s smarter than everyone else.

    Something like 40% of the price of oil has to do with market speculation, yooper.

    And stop posting lies that no one but you believes. Obama did not spend more than Bush, any check of the actual figures will prove it.
