TO LATE. The chance to act has passed. Republican victories mean we send more troops so that the Republicans can’t say the Democrats are weak and soft on terrorism.

We are in for the long long long run.

Eight years too late for either or, but time to take the shield away from the guy on the left, and make him more vulnerable, and possibly thoughtful?

Ask yourself What-would-Bush-do and stop dithering.

Just look how fine Iraq turned out: It was a quick decision followed by a quick victory with basically no cost to the american public. Fast decisions are the only way to go.

WV, we know what Bush did. He dithered 6 years in Afghanistan, after all.

    Charlie –
Prior to 9/11 we didn’t give a squirt of p!ss about the Afghanis. They don’t want us there. We don’t want us there. It’d be cheaper to figure out another way to suppress/kill the Taliban other than to further alienate the region, drain the bank and sacrifice our kids.

Personally, I hope he listens to Gandhi.

    A great, straightforward cartoon.

This war if we can call it a war is all for profits forget “democracy”. As long as money rules in our society we are doomed to exchange our young’s lifes for someone else proffits.
Pretty fair if you are a hardcore capitalist or Republican for a better word.
    Long live the mighty dollar!

Im surprised they use that bs about 2 little voices pulling seperate ways on their shoulders. Its actually 3-5 wicked voices pulling one wicked direction, and the good knowledge from God pulling the good direction.

    Gandhi? LOL.

Who was that brilliant sci-fi writer who wrote the short story wherein Gandhi’s india was controlled not by the British, but by the Nazis?

Soon as Gandhi attracted public attention, He was summarily executed. India remained firmly Nazi forever after etc.

The writer’s point being that the British weren’t the villians the Left makes them out to be, and Gandhi only gained fame because of the mercy and compassion the Brits treated him with.

Put a peace-pansy type like Gandhi up against a REAL enemy–like the Taliban–and Gandhi gets his brains blown out the second he opens his mouth, every single time.

We’re trying to fight THOSE people–the ones who would murder Gandhi. And Gandhi’s advice to us would do nothing except get our troops killed en masse, and our military defeated.

Scooter, you might at least read something non-fiction about Gandhi, the British Empire, or, well, ANY TOPIC you choose to comment on?

Ignorance is bliss, must explain your LOL?????

Regardless Trout he is right on one count: The Taliban would’ve cut Gandhi’s head off at word 1.
