McCain himself is not a bad politician. I found him already better than Bush.
But it’s some of his followers I don’t trust. They are quick to panick so McCain should watch his ads.

CF You’re very polite but it takes very little to be better than Pres Bush.

McCain got loud boos when he tried to tap down the violent outcries by his supporters at a rally.

McLame “decency” is a facade, period.

I don’t think it’s a façade. I think it’s sincere. I’m not so sure about Palin, though.
He underestimated how far some people’s hatred can go.
But if he tries to calm them down, it’s mostly because of the bad publicity

Read the Rolling Stone article on McCain. It blew my mind. It shows that the McCain we’ve seen lately – angry, impulsive, arrogantly “entitled,” opportunist – is the one who was there all along…

He looks all the world to me as one using a vocal tone intended to give the impression that he is calm, introspective, respectful, and in charge of himself.
People who comport themselves in such an obvious panic cannot hide the angry terror hiding just beneath that surface.
Watch him again, carefully!

Aye, in that last debate I saw less “game face” than desperate containment of what’s bubbling underneathy.

I wonder how a Obama supporter can talk about McCain followers with a straight face - That was with at wink wasn’t it CR

Dear Paul. It’s real easy. Just answer anything a McCain supporter may ask “truthfuly”

Ok, Why is obama not allowing anyone to see his collage entrance records?

paulk… This is an issue now? I really don’t care if Sen Obama was given a waiver or special consideration comming from a disadvantaged neighborhood, should that be the case. What he did do was to use the opportunity and excelled. Your man Sen McCain entered the Naval Acadamy because pop and grandpa were Admrials. They were the only reason he wasn’t dismissed because of his hot headedness and trouble with authority.

Barack Obama studied two years at Occidental College and then transferred to Columbia. Both universities have full documentation of him and have provided it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barack_Obama

The reason his college entrance records is an issue is the question of his citizenship. There is speculation that his records reflect his true citizenship - Indonesia. iF IT’S NOT TRUE - WHY DOESN’T HE SHOW THEM. What is he hiding?
motivemagus said, about 1 year ago
Sigh. That’s quite a reach, Paul. I’ve never heard of this before. And “speculation” means nada in a campaign as nasty as McCain’s. Obama’s as American as McCain – more so, in some ways. He represents the melting pot a heckuva lot better than his opponent.
And lest we forget, Obama was born in Hawaii. That makes him an American. Period.

This birth thing is starting to take on some elements of “swift boating”. Eleventh hour claims “Based On Facts that are referenced” to deface a candidate’s standing. When these “Facts” are looked into there’s not much more than a smoke screen.
Alexus_The_Great said, about 1 year ago
WOW!
Republicans MUST BE really desperate if they are playing “Obama is not American” card AGAIN…
sigh.
so much MUD, so little content…
