   Notice that you are misreading the cartoon. McCain has gone 100% negative – and his own campaign has confirmed it. This is McCain’s real running mate – lies and smears. And he’s letting Palin take point so his hands are cleaner. Despicable.

   If you draw a line across the bottom, these three characters are in an equal dash for the finish line. They seem, to me, to be on the same team.

   Mind of a NeoCon McCain. Even if it is failing keep doing the same thing! Hope you saw video of Minnesota campaign by McCain where he said Obama is a very capable decent man and you should not be afraid if he is your President in response to hate statements by a few members of the audience to loud cheers. He also told a woman that Obama is not an Arab or Muslim. Democrats should say Obama is a Christian instead of saying he is not a Muslim as if to imply being a Muslim is bad. Even in Pakistan, a very large majority of the population are much like us. They do not like the inequality in their country so only the elite are able to learn English and get a good education. It is the same here. California had the best schools in the nation until Proposition 10 and Reagan stopped funding the schools adequately. California is very close to the bottom in our country. The school I went to in Los Angeles was at the bottom in the city but it was much better than the typical school now. Charter schools are worse than public schools which Bush installed in New Orleans after the Shock and Awe destruction allowed by his policies of depleting the top rate FEMA built by the Clinton Administration. The top rate Veterans Hospitals were compared to the Mayo Clinic during the Clintons but by massively removing money from the system, it is similar to what Reagan had.

   jimbo - I did see the McCain statement, followed by Obama’s quick (and positive) acknowledgement of it. Let’s see if Palin does the same.
