Tet time of year when the TV channels substitute a load of mindless nonsense for a load of seasonal mindless nonsense.

Yes, but at least they use the word “Christmas” more often.

Santa is thinking; what now? Her toes have been curled, what more can she possibly want?

The only good thing on television used to be whatever you could put on top of it. These days the TV’s are so narrow you can’t put anything there. A case of smaller is sometimes not better.

That time of year when cartoonists create panels without a joke? I don’t get it.

Yikes. Buy her a ticket to a tropical island and let her get a masseuse.

Because of several pointless ‘toons recently, I think I’ll have to unsubscribe from “Home Brew” – er, I mean “Strange Brew”! It’s too “strange” for me.

Yes, curse Christ 11 months out of the year and depend upon misusing His name to make money the last four weeks. Lovely.

Assuming you don’t get American or Canadian TV, I cannot comment. If you do then you are simply not looking for quality TV. I watch crap but also quality, including our very own CBC.

From my memory of Australian TV; it’s based on the American, sponsored format. If it’s changed since the mid 60’s it can only be for the better.

Pcolli, my point was I have many times listed quality TV shows (including Canadian ones) on this website. To claim there is nothing on Tv or nothing of quality or nothing worth watching is to speak volumes or either ignorance or laziness, and I condone neither.
But Aussies wouldn’t understand the political comments of your Daily Show or our 22 Minutes or Rick Mercer report, for instance. so I have to reserve judgment based on MY lack of knowledge of what they have to choose from.
